Job DescriptionDescription: Director of Nursing We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. This leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to influence healthcare practices, foster a positive work environment, and contribute to the overall success of our organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to excellence in patient services. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies Monitor resident conditions and communicate significant changes to families, physicians and appropriate care providers. • Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care, • Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to promote professional development and high performance, • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and improve clinical outcomes, • Manage staffing levels, budgets, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and quality, • Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of patient information in accordance with legal and ethical standards, • Monitor patient satisfaction and address any issues to enhance the patient experience, • Stay current with healthcare trends, regulations, and best practices to maintain accreditation and improve service delivery Skills and Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) required; master’s degree in nursing or healthcare administration preferred, • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the relevant state or jurisdiction, • Proven supervisory experience and nursing leadership, with a minimum of 2 years in a clinical setting, • Strong knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and accreditation standards, • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure, • Proficiency in healthcare management software and electronic health records (EHR) CPR Certification Join our organization and be part of a dynamic team committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. Requirements: • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday, • Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position, • Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure that the requirements of this position can be fully met., • Must meet the general health requirements by the policies of this facility, which include a medical and physical examination, • Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disables, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times, agitated residents., • Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs to a minimum heith of 5 feet and be able to push, pull and /or carry such weight a minimum of 50 feet., • May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of of residents during emergency situations.

What you’ll do: As a Jefferson Health at Home by BAYADA Hospice Nurse (RN), you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides palliative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home. As a Jefferson Health at Home by BAYADA RN you will: • Making home visits to clients in designated geographic territories., • Performing assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures and comfort care., • Monitoring clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager., • Following up with, executing, and properly documenting doctors' orders., • Occasional on call after hours and/or weekends What you should have: • Active and current license to practice as a professional registered nurse (RN) in the state of PA., • One year of clinical experience strongly preferred., • Previous home healthcare experience welcomed, but not required. We will train you., • Ability to travel to cases as assigned, • A calm and reassuring presence, active listening skills, excellent assessment skills and strong written and verbal communication., • The ability to deliver patient care as you would want those you love to be treated, with compassion, excellence, and reliability.
