American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Neuro ICU for a travel nursing job in North Kansas City, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Neuro ICU, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 12/30/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, nights, • Work in the Neuro ICU with potential floating to all ICU units within the hospital, • Patient population includes neuro and cardiac critical care cases, • Floating is required to all competent ICU units, • Three 12-hour night shifts each week, with every third weekend required, • Cerner EMR experience is mandatory, • Locals are accepted at the same rate, • Time off must be presented at submission; post-submission time off is not approved, • No block scheduling is permitted, • ICU staff may be required to float as needed to other units, • Strict expectation for timely completion of all assigned HealthStream modules throughout the contract, • Must provide at least one professional reference for consideration, • Return staff must have a 1-year gap before reapplying\n \n Requirements\n, • Active MO or compact RN license required at time of submission, • At least 2 years of neuro and cardiac ICU experience required, • Must have prior travel nursing experience, • Current certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS, and TNCC (CPI needed starting January 2026), • Completion of 8 stroke, 8 trauma, and 8 cardiac CEUs for ICU placement, • Must pass an EKG exam with at least 80% on orientation, including testing on lethal rhythms\n Benefits\n, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
