Reporting to the Director, the Environmental Health and Safety Manager will develop, implement, and administer those EHS programs required to assure occupational safety, life safety, and environmental compliance across the spectrum of NJIT operations. Primary responsibilities include fostering a "culture of safety" across all operational disciplines of NJIT and among NJIT students, faculty, and staff. The incumbent will be principally responsible for providing a wide variety of EHS services; overseeing routine and non-routine EHS projects, investigations, and inspections; maintaining accurate recordkeeping; generating professional EHS reports; liaising with the EHS regulatory community; and providing follow up documentation to all levels of the NJIT community.
