Job Description Job Summary We are seeking skilled, safety-minded Piledrivers (Pilebucks) to join our marine construction operations in Northern California. You will prepare, drive, cut, and splice various types of piles (steel, concrete, timber) from land-based and floating platforms (barges). The ideal candidate demonstrates strong rigging and structural welding capabilities while adhering to stringent marine safety protocols. Job Responsibilities • Install piles of all sizes & dimensions on or near the water, • Utilize power hammers to raise and lower drop hammers that drive piles to required depths. Move hand and foot levers of hoisting equipment to position piling leads, hoist piling into leads, and position hammers over pilings., • Carry, load, unload, stack, and move materials. Hook and rig material and equipment for safe movement by crane., • Measure and mark piles with tape. Use a burning torch to cut steel piles, a concrete saw to cut concrete piles, and a chainsaw to cut timber piles., • Read and understand blueprint plans and pile layout, • Use tools to dig, pry, hammer, and shovel. Assist in general pile driving operations and other duties as assigned., • Give accurate crane signals to the operator to ensure the safe and efficient movement of material., • Examine and inspect field conditions. Proactively identify problems and inaccuracies that arise, and take corrective actions as needed., • Don all required personal protection equipment (PPE) at all times, including but not limited to: hard hat, PFD (Personal Flotation Device), safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves, and leather work boots., • Read, understand, and comply with all employer’s policies and applicable federal, state, and industry regulations.
