As a Corporate Catering Sales Associate, you will be the face of Graze Craze in the Austin corporate market — prospecting new clients, nurturing relationships, and converting leads into loyal, repeat accounts. The Opportunity at a Glance Role: Corporate Catering Sales Associate Locations: Great Hills (8650 Spicewood Springs Rd) & Oak Hill (6705 US-290), Austin TX Reports To: General Manager / Franchise Owners Employment Type: Part-Time or Full-Time | W2 Employee or 1099 Contractor (flexible) Compensation: Base + commission, or commission-only structure available Commission Rate: 8–12% of net catering sales closed and fulfilled Target Market: Austin-area corporations, offices, startups, law firms, real estate teams, event planners COMMISSION EXAMPLES Small Corporate Order: $50 board for 15 people × 10% = $50 commission per order Mid-Size Office Catering: $300 grazing spread × 10% = $30 commission per order Large Grazing Table Event: $800 event × 10% = $80 commission per event Recurring Monthly Account: 4 orders/month at $300 avg × 10% = $120/month from one account alone 10 Active Accounts: $10,000/month in catering sales × 10% = $1,000+ monthly commission Build your book of business and watch your earnings grow month over month Key Responsibilities Prospecting & Business Development • Identify and target prospective corporate catering clients across Austin — tech companies, law firms, real estate brokerages, medical offices, coworking spaces, event planning firms, and more., • Conduct cold outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and in-person drop-offs to introduce Graze Craze catering services to potential clients., • Attend Austin-area networking events, chamber of commerce meetings, and business expos to build visibility and generate leads., • Research local business parks, office corridors, and corporate campuses near both Austin locations to prioritize high-potential territory., • Conduct catering consultations with prospective clients — in person, by phone, or via video — to understand their needs, budget, headcount, and occasion., • Recommend the right Graze Craze catering packages, board sizes, and add-ons based on client requirements and event type., • Prepare and deliver compelling catering proposals and quotes in a timely and professional manner., • Follow up persistently and professionally on all open proposals to move prospects through the sales process and close orders., • Clearly communicate order logistics, lead times, delivery or pickup options, and pricing to clients with confidence and accuracy., • Serve as the dedicated point of contact for your corporate accounts, ensuring every order exceeds expectations and strengthens the relationship., • Check in with existing clients regularly to re-engage, gather feedback, and secure repeat and recurring orders., • Build long-term relationships that convert one-time buyers into loyal monthly or weekly catering accounts., • Handle client concerns or order issues promptly and professionally in coordination with the General Manager and kitchen team., • Distribute Graze Craze catering menus, sample boards, and promotional materials to target businesses in the Austin area., • Coordinate and deliver complimentary sample drops to high-potential corporate prospects to introduce the product firsthand., • Collaborate with the General Manager on targeted catering promotions, seasonal offers, and corporate package deals., • Represent Graze Craze at local business events, pop-ups, and catering showcases to generate brand awareness and sales leads., • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activity, client communications, proposals, and closed orders., • Provide weekly sales updates to the General Manager including pipeline status, new leads, closed deals, and projected revenue., • Communicate confirmed catering orders to the kitchen and operations team with sufficient lead time for preparation and fulfillment., • Track commission earnings and reconcile with fulfilled orders on a monthly basis with management. Qualifications • 1–3 years of sales, business development, account management, or catering sales experience preferred., • Proven ability to prospect, pitch, and close — you are comfortable picking up the phone and walking into a business cold., • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a warm, professional, and persuasive demeanor., • Self-motivated and goal-oriented — you thrive working independently and do not need to be managed closely., • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple accounts and follow-ups simultaneously., • Familiarity with CRM tools, Google Workspace, or similar sales tracking systems., • Genuine passion for food, hospitality, and delivering exceptional customer experiences., • Knowledge of the Austin business landscape and existing professional network is a significant plus., • Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation for in-person prospecting and sample deliveries., • Food Handler's Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
