As an Outside Sales Representative, you’ll manage and grow a book of business within your territory. You are not just selling essential site service items such as restrooms or a fence; you are selling reliability, compliance, safety, security, and time-saving solutions to the project managers who need fast, dependable service to keep their jobs on track. Note: This role does not involve the handling of equipment or any field work – it does require someone great at building relationships, learning the market, and working hard to spread the word about the great service offered by Knights! What You’ll Do: -Manage a portfolio of Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers in your assigned territory • Prospect and close new business with construction firms, general contractors, and event planners, • Conduct site visits and job walks to scope needs (not perform labor), • Use CRM to manage outreach, customer interactions, quotes, and follow-ups, • Build strong relationships with field superintendents and procurement teams, • Work with inside sales and operations to ensure seamless service delivery, • Attend networking events and trade associations to generate leads, • Provide accurate proposals based on client needs and site evaluations, • Be the expert and primary point of contact for your customers Why Skilled Professionals Choose Us • $100K+ annual potential through competitive base pay + uncapped commissions, • No labor or equipment handling required—this is a pure B2B relationship-driven sales role, • High customer retention due to operational excellence and responsive service, • Autonomy to run your territory like your own business, • Provided tools: CRM, laptop, phone, vehicle allowance or company vehicle, • Growth potential in a rapidly expanding company with multiple service lines, • Respectable, recession-proof industry with consistent demand Requirements: What We're Looking For: • 2+ years of outside sales experience, • Background in construction-adjacent industries is a plus (not required), • Strong communication and client-facing skills, • Confidence in quoting, negotiating, and closing deals, • Reliable, self-motivated, and organized, • Valid CA Driver’s License and proof of insurance, • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn CRM systems Work Environment & Expectations: This role requires frequent travel to customer sites, job walks, and networking events. You will primarily work independently in the field and collaborate with our support teams to serve clients. While job sites can be outdoors and noisy, your role is building relationships, not physical labor. PPE is required for safety at all site visits.
