Job DescriptionJob Title: Mixer / Blender – Commercial Bakery Type: Full Time Location: Brooklyn, NY Department: Production Reports to: Production Manger Salary Range: $41,000 - $43,000 annually Shift Schedule: First Shift (6:00am -2:30pm Sat – Thurs), Night Shift (4:00pm – 2:00am Sat -Thurs) Number of Openings: 2 Job Summary: We are recruiting an experienced Commercial Bakery Mixer / Dough Mixer for a large commercial bakery in Brooklyn, NY. This position is responsible for preparing and mixing dough for high-volume bread production by accurately reading production formulas, weighing and sequencing ingredients, and operating industrial mixing equipment, including Hobart, VMI, and similar automated or robotic mixing systems. The Mixer will monitor critical production parameters such as mixing time, cycle time, dough temperature, consistency, texture, and fermentation to ensure each batch meets established product and quality specifications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience mixing dough or pastries in a commercial or industrial bakery, a strong understanding of ingredient functions, dough consistency, mixing techniques, and basic fermentation, and the ability to perform production math involving weights, measurements, and formula scaling. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate batch and traceability records, coordinating with production teams to maintain a continuous supply of dough, performing routine equipment inspections and cleaning, and following all GMP, food safety, safety, sanitation, and Kosher requirements. Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to): • Formula Execution & Staging: Read and verify production orders/formulas; accurately weigh and sequence ingredients (manual and bulk) using scales, ensuring proper handling of raw materials like flour and yeast., • Equipment & Mixing Operations: Operate industrial, automated, and robotic mixing systems (e.g., Hobart, VMI) to achieve desired dough consistency, texture, and temperature., • Quality & Process Control: Monitor and input mixing parameters (mix time, cycle time, dough temperature). Perform sensory evaluations, monitor fermentation progress, and adjust parameters as needed., • Line Coordination & Supply: Maintain close communication with line leads and production supervisors to ensure a continuous, properly timed supply of dough to meet production throughput demands., • Compliance & Traceability: Maintain accurate, detailed batch records for quality assurance and traceability. Follow all GMP, food safety, safety protocols, and Kosher guidelines., • Sanitation & Maintenance: Refill ingredient bins, perform routine equipment inspections/cleaning cycles, and maintain a clean work space. Report any mechanical issues to maintenance—do not attempt complex repairs. Requirements & Qualifications, • Hands-on experience mixing dough/pastries in a commercial or industrial bakery environment., • Strong understanding of dough consistency, mixing techniques, ingredient functions, and basic fermentation., • Ability to read English and perform basic production math (weights, measurements, unit scaling)., • Experience with commercial mixers (Hobart, VMI, or similar automated/robotic systems)., • High attention to detail, strong communication skills, basic computer literacy, and ability to follow precise written/verbal instructions. We're hiring a Director Of Global Solutions Engineering to lead the technical engine behind our revenue organization. As a cybersecurity company, our technical credibility is central to how we win and keep customers and this leader owns it across the customer journey. You'll run a global, two-part function as a manager of managers: Sales Engineers who drive the technical win in new business (pre-sales), and Solutions Consultants who serve as the technical escalation path for our post-sales teams. You'll report directly to the CRO. This is a builder's role for a leader who is equally comfortable in a strategy conversation with the executive team, in a technical deep-dive with an engineer, and jumping into a live customer call to lead it when it counts. Details of the remit are below. Lead a global, multi-layered team. Manage and develop distributed managers and their teams of Sales Engineers and Solutions Consultants across regions. Hire, coach, and retain top technical talent; set clear career paths; and build a culture of technical excellence, curiosity, and customer obsession. Own the technical win in pre-sales. Lead the Sales Engineering team to drive pipeline conversion through world-class demos, proofs of concept, technical discovery, and value engineering consistently earning the technical decision. Own the post-sales technical escalation path. Lead the Solutions Consultants team as the technical escalation path for CSMs and the driver of technical cross-sell across our product suite. Partner with Enablement. Work with Sales Enablement to design and deliver technical training, certification, demo standards, and competitive playbooks that keep the team and the wider revenue org sharp. Be the voice of the customer to Product. Capture field and technical feedback and channel it to Product and Engineering to influence the roadmap. Operate as a revenue leader. Contribute to forecasting, capacity planning, and go-to-market strategy with the CRO and revenue leadership team, and define the metrics and processes that make the function measurable and scalable.
