Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Pediatrics, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 03/08/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 34.5 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, nights, • Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Registered Nurse Unit: Pediatric Location: Bronx, NY, 10461 Shift: 7:00 PM-7:30 AM Shift Length: 12 hours Guaranteed Hours: 34.5 hours per week Duration: 13 weeks Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric with a minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents with a variety of medical conditions while ensuring a safe, family-centered care environment.The nurse must demonstrate strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to respond effectively in fast-paced clinical situations while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and quality care. Roles & Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents in an acute care setting., • Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and recognize changes in clinical condition., • Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies according to physician orders and pediatric protocols., • Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans., • Educate and support patients’ families, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure a safe, child-friendly care environment.Skills:, • Strong pediatric assessment and clinical care skills across various age groups., • Proficiency in medication administration and dosage calculations specific to pediatric patients., • Excellent communication and family-centered care approach., • Ability to recognize and respond quickly to changes in pediatric patient conditions., • Effective team collaboration, critical thinking, and time management in a fast-paced environment.Documents Required:, • Valid NY State RN license, • PALS Certified through AHA, • ACLS Certified through AHA We’re confident you’ll find something that aligns perfectly with your needs and goals.
