To learn more about Pearce visit . Your Impact Pearce Renewables is looking for Wind Travel Troubleshooting technicians certified on all Vestas platforms. Our Certified Wind Technicians carry out daily tasks such as cleaning, organizing, minor assembly, minor service, and/or repairs to wind turbine generators and related equipment and facilities. Must have 1 year of relevant Wind experience. Expected to be able to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, minor to medium repairs crane/non-crane related, design modifications/retrofits and special projects, all following procedures and maintain certifications in all areas required by position. This position is 100% travel. Core Responsibilities • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues., • Calibrate and adjust turbine components to enhance performance., • Conduct maintenance of equipment including resolving electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic malfunctions on Vestas turbines., • Diagnose problems involving wind turbine generators or control systems., • Follow specific verbal and written instructions to perform Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) and associated equipment assembly, repair, and maintenance., • Complete and maintain required company and client documentation and records., • Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Renewables Employee handbook and insurance requirements. Core Experience • Twelve (12) months related Wind or Wind troubleshooting experience required., • Vestas training., • Vestas LOTO Certified., • Tower Rescue/ Tractel and SRK 11 Certifications preferred., • Service reporting, work order documents, and records will be written neatly, legibly and completed correctly., • Ability to read schematics., • Must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English to safely perform job duties, interpret technical instructions, and communicate effectively with team members and customers. Interpreter services are not available for this position., • Ability and willingness to climb a wind turbine vertically at least 300 feet., • Maintain a weight between 120 and 280 pounds, including clothing and boots, for OSHA safety compliance., • Lift and move equipment as needed (more than 50 pounds).
