Job DescriptionJob Title: 2nd Shift - MIG/TIG WelderJob Description As a Welder, you will perform MIG, TIG, and/or Arc welding techniques during the assembly process of diversified metal assemblies according to customer drawing specifications and work order instructions. Responsibilities • Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Arc welding techniques for fabrications., • Ensure weld operations are conducted in accordance with established specifications, including production work orders and drawings., • Conduct quality and self-inspection using drawings, fixtures, jigs, and measuring tools., • Meet pre-established objectives independently or as a team with limited supervision., • Maintain safety standards while handling parts and operating equipment to prevent damage., • Actively participate in new product introduction and suggest improvements in production and quality., • Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the workplace., • Perform routine maintenance on welding machines as outlined in procedure manuals., • Ensure the workplace is safe and free of dangerous obstacles.Essential Skills, • 5+ years of experience in MIG/TIG welding., • Experience in welding heavy steel and stainless steel., • Proficiency with new build welds and repair welds., • Ability to interpret blueprints., • Experience with TIG, flux core, stainless steel, and FCAW welding.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • High school diploma or GED., • Manual dexterity., • Strong troubleshooting skills., • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
