Job Description Instructor Assistant – Home Health Aide Program Location: Bronx, NY Status: Full-Time -35 Hours Per Week Salary Range: $21.00-$23.00 Per Hour (determined based on experience) We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Instructor to support our Nurse Instructors in the classroom and training labs. This role helps ensure our trainees receive the skills, knowledge, and support they need to succeed as Home Health Aides. The Assistant Instructor also coordinates daily training program operations, provides coaching to trainees, and assists with record-keeping and compliance. Key Responsibilities • Support Nurse Instructors with classroom and skills lab instruction (in-person and virtual)., • Assist trainees with skills demonstrations, problem-solving, and coaching., • Participate in progress meetings with instructors and case managers., • Help deliver designated topics under RN supervision., • Coordinate day-to-day operations of the training program, including schedules, attendance, and materials., • Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with Department of Health requirements., • Assist with make-up sessions, in-services, and post-accident remediation training., • High School Diploma or GED required., • At least 1 year of experience as a Home Health Aide., • Basic computer skills (data entry, MS Office, email)., • Bilingual English/Spanish required., • Flexibility in work schedule., • Ability to travel between training sites (Bronx, Manhattan, Brooklyn).
