Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Recreation Therapy, or a related field., • Demonstrated experience in planning and implementing therapeutic recreation programs., • Strong knowledge of therapeutic recreation principles, techniques, and best practices., • Develop, plan, and implement therapeutic recreation programs tailored to meet the needs of clients with varying abilities and conditions., • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ recreational interests, abilities, and therapeutic goals to inform individualized treatment plans., • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and family members to coordinate care and integrate therapeutic recreation into overall treatment strategies., • Monitor and document client progress, adjusting programs as necessary to achieve optimal therapeutic outcomes., • Provide education and training to staff, clients, and families on therapeutic recreation techniques and benefits., • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards related to therapeutic recreation services., • Manage program resources, including equipment and supplies, to maintain a safe and effective therapeutic environment.
