American Traveler is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Saint Louis, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 11/10/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 10 hours, days, • Work in a hospital-based Interventional Radiology unit providing care to adult inpatients, outpatients, and ICU patients, • Perform a wide range of procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrograms, peripheral procedures, biopsies, drainages, vascular studies, venous access, neuro studies, GU, abdominal and pelvic, and upper/lower extremity interventions, • Utilize PACS, C-Arm, contrast administration, injector systems (preferably ACIST), micro catheters and wires, pushable/detachable coils, Snare Kits, • Epic EMR experience required, • Day shift schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, • Call rotation required, averaging 10 days per month including weekends, • No floating required within scope, • Scrubs provided by facility, • Onsite parking available at no cost, • Must be available to work specified holidays as determined by contract dates, • Responsibilities include performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures using advanced imaging and vascular equipment, • Pre-employment OSHA Respirator Clearance is required before starting and travelers must be clean shaven for fit testing, • Initial onboarding requires completion of training modules prior to start, • Travelers may only work up to 1 year as a traveler and must take a 6 month break to return, • Time off requests must be submitted with application; additional requests subject to manager approval, • First-time travelers are accepted for this position, • Scrub color policy applies\n \n Requirements\n, • Minimum of 2 years experience in Interventional Radiology with adult inpatient, outpatient, and ICU populations, • Current BLS and ARRT certifications required, • Experience with PACS, C-Arm, contrast agents, biopsies, and relevant IR procedures, • Must be able to deploy pushable/detachable coils, micro catheters, micro wires, Snare Kits, and injector systems, • Epic EMR experience required, • Candidates must live more than 70 miles from the facility, • License required if applicable, • Must provide 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years\n Benefits\n, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
