As an ER Travel Nurse, you will work with a diverse team of caregivers to appropriately evaluate, triage and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions. RNs should have experience and skill caring for patients in a fast-paced, urgent and emergency environment. Emergency Room RNs will perform minor medical operations, advise patients and family on illnesses or injuries, and plan long-term care needs. Other responsibilities as an ER Travel Nurse include documenting medical history, checking for any allergies patients might have, obtaining patient vital signs, and monitoring patients' emotional and physical well-being. Job Description Purpose Statement Home infusion therapy (HIT) is a method of administering infusion therapy directly in a patient's home as well as in other settings such as nursing homes, hospitals, and outpatient clinics. The versatility of HIT provides patients with more autonomy over their care. The role of a Home Infusion RN involves delivering excellent patient care. This specialized position caters to adult patients, providing them with the necessary treatment. As a Home Infusion RN, your primary responsibility is infusion therapy involving a variety of treatments including but not limited to IVIG, monoclonal antibodies, enzyme replacement, clotting factor, and other agents using various methods of administration. This job requires a blend of clinical expertise and compassionate care. This position reports to the Area Director of Infusion Services.
