In this capacity you will be responsible for satisfying a variety of needs for Global Relay's lounge and kitchen related areas. Your responsibilities: Duties may include, but are not limited to: Front of House duties: • Continental breakfast setup: cereal, fruits, pastries, yogurt and grab‐and‐go stocking, • Organize food & beverage vendor deliveries in storage, • Stocking of coffee stations (including: cups, lids, condiments, coffee etc. for all satellite kitchens., • Clean coffee machines and prepare for morning service on all floors, • Assist with post‐breakfast and lunch service cleanup (including seating areas, plates, cutlery, dishwashing etc.), • Dishwashing and ownership of plate and cutlery program, • Collection of dirty plates and cutlery, • Assist Culinary team with preparation of menu items utilizing prep lists and recipes, • Some cooking and execution of breakfast and lunch menu, • Ensure plates and cutlery are ready for breakfast and lunch service, • Assist Culinary team with execution of breakfast and lunch menu as well as events, • Assist Culinary team with breakfast and lunch service plating, • 2-year Culinary Arts degree or equivalent 2 years work experience, • Experience in a professional kitchen, hard working with a can-do attitude, • Experience in a high-volume environment an asset Global Relay advertises the pay range for this role in compliance with applicable pay transparency laws.
