Senior - Principal Engineer - Wastewater Collection System Planning The Senior - Principal Engineer role will contribute to the development of the firm’s Water Business Sector (which encompasses water system, water resource, recycled water, and collection system planning). Previous experience with Wastewater Collection System Planning/Hydraulic Modeling is required, including master planning, infiltration and inflow analysis, flow monitoring, risk assessments, alternatives analysis and development of capital improvement plans. Candidates with a desire to develop their career toward technical leadership, client service management, and/or regional/sector management are ideal. Job Description Summary: The Project Engineer will assist the project team in the overall execution of projects in accordance with the established budget, schedule, contract plans and specifications. Working in conjunction with other staff, the Project Engineer will ensure the quality and timeliness of project construction and completion. This position may be performed from a site office location. The salary range for this position is $90,000-$125,000 per year. Ensure the vendors are most competitive in price whilst maintaining quality of workmanship and service., • Manage the Maintenance Department budget and alert management of exceptional expenditures., • Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs and improve safety., • Contribute expertise to Capital Expenditure decisions and implementation of Capital projects., • Ensure compliance with Local, State and Federal requirements i.e. permits, licenses etc., • Ensure the Maintenance department is organized and there is a culture of good housekeeping. Skills: • Previous track record as a Maintenance & Facilities Manager in a food manufacturing facility, • Experience in planning maintenance activities, • Strong project management skills, • Solid understanding of equipment and processes e.g. Boilers, refrigeration, compressed air, packaging equipment, natural gas systems., • Solid understanding of facilities Maintenance., • Familiarity with automation and PLC technology, • Ability to communicate with colleagues and vendors/contractors both verbally and in writing., • Organized and detail orientated., • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks., • Ability to identify alternative solutions when faced with unforeseen situations., • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and CAD., • Experience in Lean Manufacturing Principles.
