Trustpoint has an immediate opening supporting a large automotive and technology company in its search for a Senior Paralegal to join its legal team on a long-term contract hire basis. This full-time, onsite opportunity will support complex insurance and energy-related litigation matters, including policy disputes, claims handling, regulatory compliance, and commercial insurance defense. The ideal candidate will bring substantial litigation support experience, strong discovery and eDiscovery expertise, and the ability to independently manage high-volume, high-stakes matters in a fast-paced legal environment. This role will partner closely with internal counsel, external law firms, and cross-functional business teams throughout all phases of litigation, from pre-suit investigation through trial and appeal. Responsibilities: • Provide litigation support for insurance defense, claims disputes, policy interpretation matters, and energy-related litigation matters, • Manage all phases of discovery, including document collection, review coordination, privilege logs, production management, and quality control, • Oversee third-party subpoena responses, including document collection, redactions, production review, scope analysis, deadline management, and coordination with outside counsel, • Draft and review affidavits, custodian of records responses, correspondence, discovery materials, and litigation support documentation, • Coordinate with internal teams to gather, organize, analyze, and summarize factual evidence and case materials, • Prepare and maintain litigation binders, timelines, chronologies, and case tracking materials, • Draft and edit settlement agreements, release letters, preservation notices, discovery requests, and supporting litigation materials, • Support motion practice, deposition preparation, trial preparation, and exhibit management, • Maintain compliance with privacy regulations, document retention requirements, and internal policies related to sensitive information and litigation data, • Identify workflow improvements and recommend process enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy within litigation support operations Qualifications: • 5+ years of litigation support or paralegal experience, including at least 3+ years focused on insurance defense, commercial litigation, or claims-related disputes, • Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, • Experience working within an in-house legal department or sophisticated law firm environment strongly preferred, • Strong experience managing discovery, eDiscovery workflows, and document-intensive litigation matters, • Proficiency with eDiscovery and litigation support platforms such as Relativity, Logikcull, or similar tools, • Comprehensive understanding of litigation procedures, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, trial preparation, and appeals, • Excellent organizational, analytical, and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities under tight deadlines, • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly summarize complex information, • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail when handling confidential information and sensitive claims data, • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with document management systems and legal technology tools Preferred Qualifications: • Experience supporting insurance carriers, third-party claims matters, or energy sector litigation, • Familiarity with renewable energy, energy storage systems, or related products and technologies, • Exposure to class action litigation, regulatory investigations, or compliance-related matters, • Knowledge of claims handling procedures and insurance policy language, • Experience supporting matters involving privacy, data security, or regulatory compliance issues Details: • Long-term contract-to-possible hire opportunity, • Full-time, onsite position (with some flexibility), • Available immediately, • Compensation is commensurate with experience and expected to be 45-50/hr Trustpoint.One provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
