Location: Piedmont Triad Area of NC Job Title: Real Estate Paralegal / Senior Title Examiner Keywords: Real Estate Paralegal, Title Examiner, Commercial Real Estate, Residential Real Estate, Title Opinions, Lender’s Counsel, Closings Responsibilities Include: • Conducting comprehensive title searches and examinations for both residential and complex commercial properties., • Analyzing deeds, mortgages, liens, easements, judgments, and other recorded documents to determine clear title and identify any encumbrances., • Preparing detailed title commitments and abstracts, and reviewing surveys., • Drafting and reviewing a wide range of real estate closing documents, including deeds, settlement statements, loan documents, and corporate resolutions., • Coordinating all aspects of real estate closings from start to finish, ensuring a seamless transaction for clients., • Communicating effectively with attorneys, clients, lenders, realtors, and third parties to gather information and resolve title-related issues., • Assisting attorneys in preparing title opinions and providing support for lender's counsel services., • Proven experience as a Real Estate Paralegal or Title Examiner with a strong focus on both commercial and residential real estate transactions., • Deep understanding of North Carolina real estate law, title procedures, and closing processes., • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail., • Proficiency in legal research, document drafting, and review., • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a high-volume environment., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and real estate specific software (e.g., SoftPro, Qualia)., • Paralegal certificate or equivalent relevant experience preferred. Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 annually (Dependent on experience and qualifications) plus bonus #AVE-NG1
