Job DescriptionDescription: Position: Sales & Service Account Manager - Laundry Division Position Summary The Laundry Sales & Service Account Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and providing exceptional technical support for a portfolio of laundry chemical products. This role combines business development, account management, and hands-on service work in commercial, industrial, or institutional laundry environments. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, mechanically inclined, and able to build long-term relationships while ensuring optimal product performance at customer sites. Key Responsibilities Sales & Account Development • Identify, target, and acquire new customers in assigned territory (hospitality, healthcare, commercial laundries, etc.)., • Conduct on-site product demonstrations and present value-added solutions to prospective clients., • Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve revenue and margin targets., • Prepare proposals, quotes, and contracts for new and existing customers., • Install, calibrate, and maintain laundry chemical dispensing systems (mechanical and electronic)., • Perform routine service visits to ensure proper product usage, equipment function, and wash quality., • Troubleshoot wash results, equipment issues, or process variances using industry best practices., • Train customer staff on safe chemical handling, proper procedures, and optimal wash processes., • Recommend product mix and wash formulas based on fabric type, soil level, water conditions, and operational requirements., • Monitor chemical usage and inventory; assist customers with ordering and supply management., • Stay current on industry trends, competitive products, and technical developments., • Provide feedback to the product and operations teams to support continuous improvement. Qualifications Required • 5-7 years of sales or service experience (preferably in chemical, laundry or related industries)., • Mechanical aptitude—ability to work with pumps, dispensers, and basic electrical connections., • Strong communication, presentation, and customer-relationship skills., • Ability to work independently, manage a territory, and prioritize service calls., • Experience in commercial laundry operations, chemical dispensing systems, or facility services., • Technical training or certification in electrical or mechanical fields., • Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) in some territories. Physical & Work Requirements • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform service tasks involving bending, standing, and working in utility areas., • Availability for occasional after-hours or emergency service calls., • Willingness to work around chemicals with proper PPE and safety training.
