Location: Westwood Job Type: Full-Time We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our nursing home leadership team. This role is ideal for a compassionate and qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with strong leadership skills and a commitment to providing exceptional resident care. Major Responsibilities • Provide ongoing education, mentorship, and leadership development to clinical management, clinicians, and other team members., • Actively participate in the development and achievement of nursing department goals, including staff development functions and educational programming., • Assist in the implementation of and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards of practice consistent with corporate and regulatory guidelines., • Recruit, hire, and retain qualified nursing staff to deliver efficient resident care in accordance with staffing plans and state-mandated requirements., • Collaborate with department heads to promote positive interdepartmental relations., • Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring an accurate and effective documentation system., • Provide direct resident care as needed, ensuring effective interaction with residents and families., • Current, active, and unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)., • RN Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university., • Current CPR certification., • Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience in a setting serving a similar resident population., • At least one (1) year of management experience., • Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to nursing home operations.
