Job DescriptionDescription:Service Coordinator Location: NC Trailers – The #1 Rated Trailer Dealer in the Carolinas Reports to: Operations Manager Who We Are NC Trailers provides trailer sales, service, and parts to both residential and commercial customers. We exist to thrive together — with our teams, customers, partners, and community. • Teams: Support impactful moments in each other’s lives This role ensures customers receive fast, friendly communication and that our service workflow — from scheduling to customer updates to internal communication — runs efficiently every day. Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Communication & Call Handling • Answer customer phone calls with a professional and helpful tone, • Route calls to the correct team member or department, • Assist customers with service-related questions, scheduling, and basic information, • Log detailed messages from vendors, suppliers, and customers and notify the correct team member, • Stay calm, kind, and solutions-focused with frustrated or upset callersService Workflow Support, • Create, update, and organize service work orders, • Communicate customer updates to service technicians and management, • Follow up on parts orders, vendor communication, and job statuses, • Help ensure all required documents, photos, and notes are properly attached to service jobs, • Support process improvements to help the department operate more efficientlyCustomer Experience & Facility Care, • Keep the customer-facing area clean, stocked, and organized (coffee supplies, counters, handouts, etc.), • Welcome customers in person and direct them to the correct area, • Maintain a clean and professional atmosphere at the service counte Requirements:RequirementsSkills & Experience • Comfortable talking to customers on the phone and in person, • Ability to stay calm, positive, and helpful under pressure, • Basic computer and organizational skills (email, spreadsheets, file organization, typing), • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, • Willingness to learn trailer terminology, services, and processesPhysical Requirements, • Walk our 6-acre gravel lot (including hills) in hot or cold weather, • Lift or open trailer gates/ramps up to 40 lbs, • Work indoors and outdoors depending on customer needsLicensing, • Must have or be willing to obtain an NC Dealer LicenseWhat It Takes to Succeed at NC Trailers, • Stay Active – Jump in.
