Job DescriptionDescription: Parts Pro III - Job Description Reports to: Service Manager Primary job responsibilities: • Monitor and adjust service priorities throughout the day; coordinate people resources to accomplish all service tasks, • Identify supply chain issues and develop mitigation strategies, • Monitor inventory utilization and turnover rates and recommend strategies to meet customer demands, • Train new parts staff at all locations, • Assign and monitor cycle counts, stocking and quarterly inventory processes, • Monitor market trends to identify and recommend new products (the next best thing), • Coordinate direct shipping & logistics, • Packs & ships parts, • Identifies shipping methods, • Collects payment, • Monitors website for onsite orders, • Generate vendor parts orders, • Manage parts supply chain to optimize profits and revenues, • Ensures availability of parts as needed, • Identify vendors with available pricing to meet profit margin goals, • Adjusts retail price based on profit margin requirements, • Uses point of sale (POS) software to perform sales transactions, inventory updates, cycle counts, validating and adjusting inventory counts and resolve discrepancies, • Write service orders from start to finish, enter into POS and close out orders, • Conduct walk-arounds with customer to ensure service order is complete, • Notify customers of recommended additional services and when trailers are ready for pick-up, • Change tires, • Perform trailer hook-ups, if needed, • Answer inbound parts phone calls, • Assist walk-in parts customers and looks up trailer price & availability, • Check-in, label and stock parts, • Update and install parts displays on the lot and in office, • Sell accessories and other needed equipment for customers purchasing trailers, • Perform cycle counts for parts inventory., • Manage parts supply chain to optimize profits and revenues, • Unload and assemble trailers before opening as needed, • Assist in organize inventory on lot, • Use point of sale software to perform parts transactions, • Take payment over the phone and in person for parts using various payment processing services., • Cover the Service desk when Parts and Service Pro Team Leader is not available., • Basic inventory management, processes and strategies, • Knowledge of supply chain management, • Learn & use point of sale software to perform parts transactions, • Cover service desk as back-up to Service Pro team, • General math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, percentages), • Pass a math assessment, • NC Drivers License, • General computer skills (Google or Microsoft documents, spreadsheets, email, etc.), • Data entry, • Ability to speak with customers & vendors to identify parts needed and resolve issues, • Ability to switch between tasks throughout the day, • Ability to keep work areas clean and organized, • Ability to learn parts inventory and gain sufficient knowledge to identify which parts are needed and research availability of parts to meet customer needs, • Ability to identify and resolve issues with team, • Lift 50 lbs with or without assistance, • 80% Quarterly Rock Achievement., • 90% Weekly To Do completion rate., • Must have retail sales experience, • Must be able to regularly lift 50 lbs., • Must have valid NC Drivers license, • Must be skilled in Microsoft Office or Google Docs, • Must have reliable transportation, • Verbal Communication, • Conflict Resolution, • Multi-tasking, • General Math Skills, • Problem Solving, • Organization, • Email & Punctuality Work Environment: • Work is performed at desk, outside retail lot, in parts warehouse, and in service shop, • Fast pace environment, • A small business requires varying tasks from time to time to ensure all needed tasks are completed., • Product knowledge required to perform job proficiently
