As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you'll be the first on the ground to bring essential Applied Behavior Analysis services to a community that has been waiting for a local partner they can trust. • Be the Spark: Provide life-changing 1:1 ABA therapy directly in the learner's natural environment. You'll leverage your knowledge of ASD and developmental disabilities to support families across all ages and skill levels, meeting them exactly where they are., • Take the Lead: Implement comprehensive ABA techniques and behavior intervention plans with a high degree of independence. You'll use your keen observational skills to monitor progress and adapt in real-time to the unique needs of each home setting., • Track the Success: Master various data collection methods to show real-world progress. We are hiring for FULL-TIME in-home positions. Applicants must be available during our core window of 8 AM – 6 PM. While "trailblazing" is the mission, day-to-day excellence in the home is built on these core functions: • Clinical Integrity & Safety: You'll implement individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) with high fidelity. This includes ensuring learner safety by following least-restrictive procedures and promoting learner dignity through assent-based practices., • Comprehensive Care: You provide support for the "whole learner." This includes implementing toilet training protocols as instructed and helping with the preparation and organization of program materials and supplies for each session., • Professionalism & Compliance: You'll stay at the top of your game by maintaining your RBT certification, adhering strictly to the BACB Ethics Code, and ensuring you receive and record the required 5% supervision monthly., • Administrative Precision: Growth requires documentation. You will accurately record data in our EMR software during every session and submit billing and session notes according to funder requirements and internal deadlines., • High school diploma or equivalent required, • Clean Driving Record: You'll need a solid driving history to help us get the show on the road!, • Must pass a background check, healthcare registry check, and OIG exclusion search., • Working towards or has obtained a Degree in Behavioral Science or related field (such as; Psychology, Special Education, Elementary Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Occupational/Physical/Speech Therapy or Counseling/Social Work) preferred, • Previous experience working with individuals with ASD and/or developmental disabilities in a clinical or educational setting required, • Actively seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) preferred, or a good-standing Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) required, • Minimum of one year of professional Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) work experience preferred, • Must be able to observe and move with children in their natural environments (e.g. ABtA center, home, school and/or outside or in community), • Must be able to demonstrate working and playing with children; must be able to sit on floor on ground and move easily in this capacity, • Must be able to perform the following gross motor activities:, • Climbing (e.g. upon playground equipment), • Bending over (e.g. to assist child with writing or pick up reinforcers off ground), • Squatting (e.g. to assist child putting on shoes), • Running (e.g. running through a sprinkler with a child), • Carrying (e.g. teaching materials, toys, art supplies) up to 15lbs, • Must be able to perform the following fine motor activities:, • Pincer grasp (e.g. manipulation of teaching PECS icons), • Writing (ex. Filling out paper form with a pencil or pen), • Using scissors and various craft supplies, • Grasping objects (e.g. keys, door knobs, etc), • Twisting of hands/wrist or fingers (e.g. Tying Shoes, fastening a button, using a zipper, etc), • Must be able to demonstrate working and playing with children; must be able to sit on floor on ground and move easily in this capacity, • Must be able to lift children up to 50lbs, • Must be able to utilize safe non-violent crisis intervention techniques with program participants of all ages (raising arms above head to block, stepping back, reaching behind shoulders, etc), • Must be able to teach and assist with toileting skills. (eg. changing diapers, lifting on an off toilet), • Setting: You will work in diverse home environments and outdoors (i.e., backyards), navigating various household layouts and climates., • Professionalism: You are responsible for maintaining a tidy "therapy footprint" in the family's home and respecting their private space., • Atmosphere: Expect dynamic noise levels, including household activity, siblings, and learner vocalizations., • Physical Care: You will provide direct support for Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including toilet training, diapering, and feeding, as outlined in the clinical plan.
