What This Role Is All About Our Telephone Triage Nurse is often the first voice a parent hears when they're unsure, concerned, or looking for reassurance. Your calm presence and clinical expertise will help families understand what to do next and whether their child needs to be seen that day. This is a hybrid role, blending remote flexibility with in‑office teamwork: • Training Period: First 30 days fully on-site, Monday–Friday, to ensure comfort with workflows, triage protocols, and our culture of communication., • Hybrid Schedule After Training: 3 days in office and 2 days remote each week., • Conduct thorough patient assessments over the phone, • Use triage protocols and clinical judgment to evaluate urgency, • Provide clear, compassionate guidance to parents, • Schedule same‑day visits when needed, • Document interactions accurately in the EHR, • Collaborate with providers and clinical teams, • Educate families about conditions, home care, and next steps, • Assist with clinical tasks while on-site (medications, injections, vitals, venipuncture), • Active RN license, • Strong communication and clinical assessment skills, • 1+ year of phone triage experience Were a team that values kindness, collaboration, and growth.
