The Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine Department is responsible for providing anesthesia and analgesia services in the Hospital and Clinics. When coverage is not needed, the Float Medical Provider has a remote telemedicine schedule for same-day visits. This role offers great flexibility in terms of hours. Both 8- and 10-hour weekday schedules will be considered, as well as 8- to 40-hour week schedules. Schedules can be either the same every week or based on organizational need, depending on the Float Medical Provider’s preference. There are no on-call responsibilities, panel of patients, supervision of other providers, or required weekend hours. In-person work will be required when covering for an in-person provider’s leave; otherwise, work will be remote.
