Previous Charge RN and Teaching Hospital experience preferred., • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (required)., • Licensure: Active RN license (pending licenses not accepted)., • First-time Travelers: Accepted., • Holiday/Charge Shifts: Required as needed per unit., • Weekend Requirement: 8 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period (Fri/Sat/Sun combinations).Ratios, • Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5Skills Required, • Work Settings: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, ER Holding, Neuro Stepdown, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown., • Cardiac Monitoring & Emergency Response: Dysrhythmia interpretation/management, telemetry monitoring (unit & remote), rapid response team participation., • Cardiovascular: Post-Cardiac, Angiogram, Post-MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery., • Endocrine/Metabolic: IV insulin protocols., • Gastrointestinal: Feeding tube care and management., • Genitourinary/Renal: Pre/Post Hemodialysis, Renal failure management., • IV Therapy/Phlebotomy: Blood product administration, central line care/management, PICC line management, phlebotomy, peripheral line care/management, IV starts., • Medications: Heparin protocols, management & titration of cardiac drips, PCA, procedural sedation administration., • Neurological/Psychiatric: Stroke (CVA) care., • Orthopedics: Peripheral nerve block catheters, total joint replacements., • Plastics: Surgical drains., • Respiratory: Tracheostomy management, chest tubes, external CPAP/BiPAP, HFNC, oxygen delivery systems, non-invasive airway management., • Professional Skills: Isolation precautions, wound care, wound vac management.Skills Preferred, • IV Therapy/Phlebotomy: Port access.
