Senior Analyst - Cashflow Data Scientist Miami (Hybrid) Circa $140,000 + Bonus I'm partnered with a profitable fintech lender that has built one of the most extensive SMB cash flow datasets in its market. They've invested heavily in connected-account data and now sit on millions of bank transactions across funded merchants, declined applicants and broader prospect populations. The challenge? They're only scratching the surface of what's possible. They're looking for a Senior Analyst or Data Scientist to become the internal expert for transactional/open banking data and drive projects spanning credit risk, marketing and pricing: • Marketing and Pre-Approved Offers, • Credit underwriting enhancement, • Pricing optimisation, • Portfolio monitoring & early warning systems, • Growth analytics, • Proactive renewals and Credit Line Increase, • AI-enabled analytical workflows This isn't a reporting role. You'll partner directly with senior leadership to answer questions such as: • Which merchants should we be approving or approving faster?, • Which portfolio segments are deteriorating before losses emerge?, • Where are we mispriced?, • What signals can drive growth that competitors are missing? What we're looking for: ✅ 2+ years working with Plaid, open banking or transactional banking data ✅ Strong SQL and Python ✅ Experience building features from transaction-level data ✅ Analytics experience within lending, fintech, credit, risk or adjacent sectors ✅ Ability to translate analysis into commercial decisions Nice to have: • Small business lending, • Machine Learning, • Portfolio monitoring, • Credit analytics, • AI/LLM tooling experience The hiring manager is specifically interested in people who have used transactional data creatively, not just for risk, but also for growth, sales enablement and customer intelligence. Senior Data Scientist | Growth, Pricing & Risk Analytics Miami, FL (Hybrid) Up to $170,000 + Bonus We're partnered with a high-growth fintech that has built something most lenders can only talk about: a truly connected dataset spanning marketing acquisition, underwriting, pricing, funding, and portfolio performance. As a result, their Data Science team doesn't operate in silos. This role sits at the intersection of growth, credit risk, and pricing strategy, using machine learning, experimentation, and advanced analytics to influence decisions across the full customer lifecycle. You'll own and evolve production models that shape: • Lead valuation & acquisition strategy, • Credit approval and underwriting decisions, • Risk-based pricing, • Portfolio profitability, • Experimentation and decision optimisation This is not a "build models and hand them over" environment. You'll take solutions from concept through deployment and monitoring, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and Business leaders. About LiquidFi LiquidFi is building the next generation of information and payment infrastructure for lending and structured finance. We help investors, issuers, servicers, warehouse lenders, custodians, and trustees operate from a single, provable system of record for data, documents, and payments. The results are tangible: investor loan-level reporting reduced from 55 days to 1 day, payment reconciliation that settles in seconds instead of weeks, and dramatically improved transparency across complex financial transactions. We've onboarded $25B+ in loans across 50+ securitizations, recorded $7B+ in payments, and have been profitable since Q4 2024. We are now raising growth capital to accelerate expansion of our platform and payments infrastructure. We're selling into one of the most sophisticated and complex buyer pools in finance. We're looking for someone who finds that exciting, not intimidating. The Role This is a founding sales hire, not a seat in an established sales organization. You will own revenue generation: creating pipeline, developing relationships, running complex sales cycles, and closing net-new business across lending, fixed income, and structured finance markets. You'll help define our go-to-market strategy, messaging, sales process, and future team structure while working directly with the CEO. Success in this role will come from creating opportunities, activating industry relationships, opening doors, and building trust with senior decision-makers. This is a highly outbound, relationship-driven role. If you want an existing book of business to manage, this isn't it. If you want to build something meaningful and have a direct impact on company growth, we'd like to talk. What You'll Do • Own a revenue target and drive new client acquisition across mortgage, structured finance, and adjacent fixed income asset classes., • Generate pipeline through industry relationships, networking, referrals, outbound outreach, conferences, and strategic partnerships., • Lead consultative sales processes from initial conversation through contract execution., • Sell business outcomes, not technology: identify operational pain points, quantify ROI, and build compelling business cases for adoption., • Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving issuers, servicers, trustees, investors, custodians, and other market participants., • Help build the foundation of the commercial organization, including messaging, qualification criteria, sales process, and market positioning., • Partner closely with the CEO and product team to refine go-to-market strategy, pricing, and product direction based on customer feedback., • Represent LiquidFi at industry conferences, client meetings, and other market-facing events. What We're Looking For • Significant experience selling into financial institutions, capital markets participants, structured finance firms, or related financial services organizations (8+ years preferred)., • Strong domain credibility, fluent in how these markets actually operate, including servicing transfers, cashflow waterfalls, loan-level reporting, and securitization structures., • Ability to engage confidently with senior executives across lending, servicing, securitization, banking, and fixed income markets., • Existing relationships within structured finance, mortgage, banking, servicing, asset management, or capital markets are strongly preferred., • Demonstrated ability to source, develop, and close enterprise-level opportunities., • Experience selling enterprise software, data platforms, fintech solutions, financial infrastructure, or complex services., • Ability to translate technical concepts into business value and communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders., • Builder mentality with comfort operating in an entrepreneurial environment where processes are created, not inherited., • High integrity, disciplined communication skills, and a consultative approach to selling in trust-sensitive and regulated markets. What Success Looks Like First 90 Days • Become fluent in LiquidFi's products, market positioning, and customer use cases., • Build a qualified pipeline across multiple target segments., • Establish active conversations with prospective customers and strategic partners. 6-9 Months • Close initial new business opportunities., • Develop a repeatable sales motion and contribute meaningfully to go-to-market strategy., • Create the foundation for future commercial team growth. Why Join LiquidFi • Be the founding commercial hire at a profitable, high-growth company operating at the intersection of financial markets, payments, and technology., • Work directly with experienced leadership and have meaningful influence on company strategy., • Help define a new category of infrastructure for lending and structured finance., • Participate in the upside through equity ownership in a business built on recurring revenue and long-duration, low-churn client relationships., • Flexible, hybrid work environment. If you're passionate about financial markets, energized by building relationships, and excited about bringing innovative technology to traditional industries, we'd love to hear from you.
