Vision Life is hiring dependable, compassionate DSPs to provide inhome support for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities living in their own homes in Rancho Cordova. Youll help people remain safe, healthy, and as independent as possible where they live. Responsibilities • Support with daily living activities (ADLs), personal care, and hygiene as needed, • Coach independent living skills, community integration, and social activities, • Follow person-centered plans and behavioral strategies; complete accurate, timely documentation, • Assist with medications per policy (if trained/authorized), • Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow health/safety protocols, • Communicate professionally with individuals served, families, and team membersMinimum requirements, • 18+ years old; high school diploma or equivalent, • Valid CA drivers license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance, • Able to pass DOJ/FBI background check (Live Scan) and eligible to work in the U.S., • Current or willingness to obtain quickly: CPR/First Aid and TB/health screening, • Completion of required new-hire and in-service trainings (paid), • Experience as a DSP/caregiver preferred but not required, • Ability to assist with transfers and be on your feet for extended periodsWhat we offer, • Full-time and part-time schedules, • Starting pay of $18.25 per hour, • Paid training and ongoing professional development, • Supportive team culture with growth opportunities, • Live Scan reimbursement at 50% with receipt (per company policy), • Optional on-call/backup shifts for additional hoursTypical schedules, • Day, swing, and overnight shifts; weekend/holiday availability may be requiredHow to apply (Indeed) Apply with your resume.
