Job Description Please note: this role services the greater Tampa and surrounding areas! Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Front End Loader Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for operating a front-end loader to move, load, and organize materials in a safe and efficient manner on construction sites in the right of way in conjunction with Pipe Laying crews. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of heavy equipment operations, planning of materials needed, and be committed to maintaining productivity and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: • Operate front-end loader to transport materials such as gravel, sand, soil, concrete, rock, and debris., • Load trucks, hoppers, bins with raw materials or finished products., • Inspect equipment before and after operation to ensure safety and maintenance needs are met (e.g., fluid levels, tire condition)., • Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of the loader to keep it in optimal condition., • Follow site layouts, grades, and instructions from supervisors or project managers., • Ensure proper loading techniques to avoid spills, damage, or safety hazards., • Maintain awareness of surroundings to avoid collisions with personnel, structures, or other equipment., • Work in various weather conditions and adapt to schedule or task changes as needed., • Minimum of 1–3 years of experience operating a front-end loader or similar heavy equipment., • Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not always required)., • High school diploma or equivalent preferred., • Familiarity with standard construction site safety practices and protocols., • Experience with additional heavy equipment (e.g., skid steers, backhoes, excavators)., • OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus., • Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment., • Able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs., • Comfortable working in dusty, noisy, and varying outdoor weather conditions., • Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines and regulations., • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required., • 401(k) matching, • Dental insurance, • Vision Insurance, • Health insurance (100% Employer paid for Employee Only Coverage), • Life insurance, • Paid time off, • Retirement plan RMCF is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
