Position Summary The Assistant Program Director supports the Program Director in the leadership, oversight, and daily operations of the program. The Housing Unit fights for the stability of vulnerable individuals and families by preventing homelessness through legal advocacy and promoting housing quality and affordability for low-income tenants. The Housing Unit is significantly expanding its eviction prevention services to support implementation of Philadelphia’s Right to Counsel for tenants in court proceedings, as well as legal services support for Philadelphia’s new Eviction Diversion Program. Lawyers in the Housing Unit zealously represent private, public, and subsidized housing tenants in matters involving eviction, illegal lockouts, fair housing violations, termination or loss of subsidy, substandard housing, and discrimination, as well as barriers to stable housing for those with criminal records or domestic or sexual violence issues. Representation includes all the elements of litigation including client interviewing, investigation, discovery, identifying and preparing witnesses and exhibits, pleadings, briefs, and representation at hearings at trial level and appellate levels as appropriate in state and federal court. The staff attorney will primarily represent a high volume of individual clients each week in court hearings and administrative hearings. The staff attorney may also provide supervision and support to paralegals, social workers, and interns who are providing advice, brief service, and some representation. Working under the general supervision of the Facilities Project Manager, the Construction Superintendent is responsible for planning, scheduling, and directing a team of skilled carpenters in the maintenance and renovations of museum buildings. Job Description Position Summary: First Judicial District Training Navigator is responsible for training staff of the First Judicial District Court of Pennsylvania in behavioral health topics. These trainings are designed to increase the behavioral health literacy of First Judicial District Court personnel by, helping them to recognize signs that individuals they serve may be experiencing behavioral health challenges and refer them to the BHJD Resource Hub for connection to appropriate supports. Key trainings center on recognizing signs of behavioral health issues (e.g., Mental Health First Aid, Hearing Disturbing Voices), suicide prevention (e.g., Question, Persuade, Refer), and trauma-informed/trauma responsive care. This role is funded by a grant from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency. First Judicial District Training Navigator has a secondary responsibility to provide navigation support to the Philadelphia Police Department’s Behavioral Health Unit (BHU). The BHU is comprised of two programs, Crisis Intervention Response Team (CIRT) and Police Assisted Diversion (PAD). Navigators help the BHU "navigate" the maze of the court system, treatment programs, and community supports to ensure the individuals the BHU engages with are successfully linked to the appropriate care and services. Navigators also work to reduce the barriers that keep individuals with mental health needs from remaining in the community, getting timely access to treatment, and diversion from incarceration when appropriate. Pay Range for this position is: $55,000-$70,000 plus annual bonus, depending on experience and geographical location. POSITION SUMMARY The Accounts Payable Analyst reports to the Associate Manager of Accounts Payable and is based out of our Cherry Hill, NJ location. This individual supports the day-to-day functional operations of the accounts payable area for the Finance Department. The ideal candidate will possess their bachelor’s degree in a business-related field of study and 2-3+ years of relevant office administration work experience. Primary Responsibilities include: • maintain and reconcile accounts payable ledger to validate charges and ensure accurate and timely processing and payments of AP invoices., • prepare and perform payment runs for checks and EFTs., • post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records., • research and resolve invoice and un-vouchered receipt discrepancies., • correspond with vendors and internal client’s inquiries., • produce monthly reports and assist in the month end closing process., • prepare invoices for document retention software and process imaging of documents to maintain vendor records., • Utilize AP data, KPI’s, and current processes to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvements, automation, or cost savings., • Troubleshoot and research of accounts payable issues and problems, including systems issues., • Communicates with vendors and internal clients as needed to investigate and resolve discrepancies in billing and payments, minimizing invoices placed on an AP hold report., • Provide support as needed during the quarter end review and year-end audit., • Analyzes accounts payable transactions to ensure compliance with company internal controls and accounting policies, complying with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements., • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications, etc., • Perform other related duties as required and assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Minimum Required Qualifications • 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience, • Excellent written and verbal communication as well as strong interpersonal skills, • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, • Awareness of technology as a means of communication and efficiency preferred, • Highly detail oriented and organized in work, • Ability to work independently, prioritize and meet assigned deadlines, • Must be a highly motivated, service and team-oriented individual with a drive to succeed, • Excellent time management skills Additional Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting, finance, mathematics, or business- related field, • Experience in the consumer products manufacturing (food/beverage strongly preferred), • Proven organizational skills, • Ability to direct, coach and train others, • Consultative, influential, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS This position requires sufficient physical ability to work in a typical office setting; driving a motor vehicle and occasionally working in the field.
