Job DescriptionJob Title: Material HandlerJob Description The Material Handler ensures warehouse materials are accurately received, stored, packaged, preserved, and shipped in line with customer delivery requirements while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. Responsibilities • Receive incoming products, verify accuracy, and complete all associated documentation in accordance with established procedures., • Store materials in designated locations using appropriate material handling equipment and methods to maintain organization and inventory accuracy., • Locate items in the warehouse, pull down pallets, identify the correct ID or part number on wrapped pallets, retrieve the required items, and rewrap pallets securely., • Perform picking, packing, sorting, labeling, replenishing, and order picking activities using RF scanners and other warehouse tools., • Handle shipping and receiving tasks, including preparing outbound shipments, staging products, and coordinating with carriers as needed., • Conduct inventory cycle counts and audits, and promptly report any inventory discrepancies or variances to the lead or supervisor., • Stock all incoming shipping and warehouse supplies to ensure materials and packaging are available when needed., • Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely and in compliance with company policies and regulations., • Comply with company policies, guidelines, and procedures, as well as applicable state and federal regulations, OSHA standards, and hazardous material requirements for storage, handling, and movement of product., • Perform necessary housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment throughout the warehouse., • Assist with special projects or additional duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations.Essential Skills, • Material handling experience in a warehouse environment., • Hands-on experience with shipping and receiving processes., • Proficiency with order picking, packing, and packaging activities., • Experience using RF scanners for inventory and order processing., • Ability to use pallet jacks and other basic material handling equipment., • Forklift experience and ability to operate forklifts safely., • Knowledge of inventory practices, including cycle counting and auditing., • High School Diploma or GED (required)., • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management systems and MS Office., • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to safety and compliance requirements.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience with domestic and international shipping regulations is a plus., • Knowledge of carrier computer systems such as FedEx, UPS, DHL, or similar platforms is a plus., • Hazardous materials (HazMat) training is a plus., • Comfort working with computer hardware and associated software for warehouse operations., • Strong attention to detail when matching IDs and part numbers on pallets and inventory., • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment and meet productivity and quality expectations., • Willingness to support special projects and adapt to changing operational needs.Why Work Here? The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. You will work around racking, pallets, and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, and will regularly use RF scanners and computer systems for inventory and shipping tasks. The environment requires regular movement, lifting, and working around active warehouse operations, with an emphasis on maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility. Appropriate work attire suitable for a warm warehouse setting and safety-compliant footwear is expected. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Doral, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
