Job DescriptionJob Title: Fleet Maintenance MechanicJob Description We are seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on a variety of fleet vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and material handling equipment. This role requires expertise in hydraulic systems, engine repairs, and automotive maintenance. Responsibilities • Diagnose failures of vehicles and disassemble, repair, and reassemble parts as necessary., • Conduct brake pad repairs and oil changes on fleet vehicles., • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and material handling equipment., • Maintain accurate documentation and vehicle software systems, such as work orders and vehicle records., • Assist Lead Technicians with larger fleet repairs, including engine repairs, SCR diagnostics, and electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.Essential Skills, • Experience with hydraulic equipment, fleet maintenance, and automotive mechanics., • Proficiency in preventive maintenance, engine diagnostics, and diesel maintenance., • Ability to diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Certifications in automotive repair are highly preferred. Job Description This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus. Description below is to capture general tasks; this posting is to fill maintenance positions ranging from preventive maintenance to a Master Tech level. Position Summary With direct supervision from a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor, a Maintenance Technician performs repair and maintenance work on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks including, but not limited to, chassis components, vehicle refuse bodies and control systems, hydraulic electrical, air brake systems, general engine work, HVAC components, suspension, drive train and steering systems. The Maintenance Technician may also perform basic tire work, such as replacement, tire rotation, and tread depth checks. This position is expected to be from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Essential Responsibilities • Chassis component repair and maintenance., • Refuse bodies, including control, hydraulic and electrical systems; and air and hydraulic braking systems., • Engine repair and maintenance., • Suspension, drivetrain and steering systems., • Heating and air conditioning., • Air Brake Repair and Maintenance, • Safely provides road service when necessary to ensure that the Company’s equipment is returned to operation in a safe and efficient manner., • Identifies the source of the malfunctions using a variety of electronic tools., • Completes applicable Company training programs., • Maintains a clean and professional work area., • Performs other job-related duties as assigned. This role provides comprehensive, person-centered support to homeless and/or frail older adults residing in our specialized subsidized housing community. The Case Manager helps clients achieve greater stability and independence by conducting assessments, developing care plans, coordinating essential services, and ensuring effective delivery of supports such as emergency financial assistance, housing and entitlement resources, health and wellness services, caregiver supports, and in-home nursing care when needed.
