Job Description Corvid's Missile Defense Products group is adding experienced Software Engineers to support the development of Fire Control software for weapons systems. The role will focus on developing (and testing) algorithms and capabilities that can be integrated into existing architecture that evaluates and manages the situational awareness for Missile Defense Systems. Some key responsibilities will include: • Extensive development efforts in a variety of languages including C++, Java and/or Ada, • Develop, present and execute complex work requirements related to software, • Candidate must be a US Citizen and be eligible to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance, • Position requires a Bachelor's Degree in related STEM discipline and at least 5 years of relevant development experience (Advanced Degrees may substitute for experience), • Experience with Linux, scripting, and/or operations, • Ability to use MATLAB and Python for development and analysis, • Advanced degree in Physics or Math (or strong foundation in either) Corvid Technologies is an engineering firm specializing in using high-fidelity, computational modeling and simulation to analyze, design, and manufacture products for aerospace, DoD, and commercial customers. We have an exciting opportunity for a Model Simulation Developer to join our JETS II contract team at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL. If selected you will: • Design, development, and test of software models and simulations for an Environmental Control and Life Support System (ECLSS)., • Participate in a software development environment., • Create and present detailed software designs., • Conduct and participate in design and code reviews. This position has been posted at multiple levels.
