Job Description Job Title: Field Technician Job Description In this role, you will drive to current customer sites to install CO2 monitors. This work involves low voltage tasks akin to installing fire alarms in residential settings. Due to recent regulations on CO2, this position is crucial. You will be responsible for installing monitors directly into systems using CAT 5 cabling. Responsibilities • Visit customer sites to install CO2 monitors., • Perform light low voltage installations similar to fire alarm setups., • Use CAT 5 cabling for simple installation tasks., • Drive own vehicle to customer sites and pick up materials from shop or depot., • Communicate politely with customers and explain installation processes., • Proficiency in handling CAT 5 cabling and basic installation tools., • Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints., • Experience with hand tools and general electrical tasks., • Minimum of 2 years in light construction, mechanical, or electrical backgrounds., • Experience in low voltage or light electrical work is a plus., • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision., • Experience in documenting work using a smartphone.
