The remaining 126 units will provide housing for low-income households, including a live-in superintendent. CAMBA will have a full on-site office suite and offer case management to promote healthy living, connection to medical, mental health and substance treatment, and assisting tenants to access and maintain public benefits; computer trainings and resume workshops within the on-site computer library; financial literacy programs; access and referral services to other CAMBA programs and local organizations and service providers; community-building activities to help integrate the tenants; and additional supports as needed to help tenants succeed and remain stably housed. Job Description The Parent Support Program is designed to educate and support families of juvenile probationers and juvenile detainees. The program seeks to decrease the family’s reliance on law enforcement consequences by referring families to services that can help keep their young person safe and in the community. Families of detainees will be supported in maintaining and strengthening relationships with their loved-ones in detention and preparing for the transition home. The Parent Coach provides peer mentorship, guidance, and referral services for parents and families. S/He will work with probation officers and case managers to engage families in service planning for their child, with the goal of increasing family engagement at all levels of the probation process. Reports to: Program Coordindator Parent Suppport Services Location: 330 Jay Street, Brooklyn 11201- Brooklyn Family Court/17 Bristol Street, Brooklyn, 11208 - Crossroads Secure Facility Hours: 35 Hours/Week, Non-Exempt- varying schedule options between 9am and 8:30pm, Shifts. Job Description Function/Skills: To provide psychological services in your assigned IRA residence. • Assess consumer functioning by reviewing standardized instruments such as adaptive behavior scales and IQ tests. Assess informally via record reviews, staff interviews and behavioral observation on an ongoing basis. The process includes arranging for standardized testing to be administered as needed., • Report to the IDT the findings and recommendations based on the above assessment. Report to the IDT consumer progress or lack thereof at scheduled team meetings., • Based on team review and recommendation develop behavioral treatment plans, monitoring plans, and behavior guidelines/protocols; and regularly perform staff in-services to ensure proper implementation of these plans., • Monitor consumer progress via formal review of behavioral data and incidents, and discuss the treatment team at monthly IDT meetings, and at the individuals ISP meetings. The latter must include a semi-annual report that adheres to the current agency format. Develop special data collection systems beyond ABC charts in the case of specific and unusual consumer needs., • Train staff on each individual’s psychological profiles and needs above and beyond the regular training regarding behavior plans and data collection. Follow up on group training via the direct observation of individual staff performance.
