You'll work directly with our Founder & Executive Director to build how Asiyah looks, sounds, and shows up online. Not just posting about what we do, but creating content that people actually want to watch, share, and talk about. A lot of this job happens outside. You might be on a street in Brooklyn asking New Yorkers what home means to them. You'll be behind the scenes documenting what it takes to run an emergency women's shelter, while protecting the privacy of the people we serve. You might spend an afternoon interviewing a community leader, filming a fundraising event, or developing an original video series from scratch. Then you'll take that footage, edit it, and turn it into something worth watching. We don't want generic nonprofit content. Job Description Audition Notice: The Riverside Choir is hearing auditions for the Sub List in all voice parts, and limited SAB position openings. Description and pay-scale: The Riverside Choir is a diverse semi-professional group of 40+ singers, ranging in ability from volunteer and avocational to fully professional, and offers various positions on a sliding scale of compensation of $80-$150/service. A high level of musicianship, experience, confidence, sense of pitch, and proficient music reading is expected. The ability to blend chorally and sing comfortably with limited vibrato is essential. The choir sings the full range of traditional choral repertoire from classical composers such as Mendelssohn, Handel, and Howells, to modern composers and African-American spirituals. There are occasional solo opportunities. Schedule: The usual Sunday schedule is a 9:00am rehearsal for an 11:00am service, every week from mid-September to mid-June, with additional services around Christmas and Easter. How You'll Make An Impact As a Production Intern at Magnet Media, you will work closely with the production team, sharpening your video editing and production skills to support various projects at Magnet. You'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in crew outreach, production scheduling and budgeting, the paperwork behind the productions, and editing in Adobe Premiere and After Effects on a variety of projects, ranging from SMBs to Forbes 100 companies.
