Job Description Job Title: Assistant Site Coordinator - ELOP Department: TCF ELOP Programs Reports To: Program Coordinator Location: Sacramento, CA Classification: Full-Time, Nonexempt Duration: School Year (July-June Salary Range: $23.00 - $24.00 Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision & 401k Schedule: Monday–Friday, schedule subject to change based on business needs Position Summary All TCF employees are expected to uphold high standards of attendance, accountability, and professionalism while consistently modeling the mission and core values of The Table Community Foundation (TCF): Serve. Love. Unite. The Assistant Site Coordinator, reporting to the Site Coordinator(s), supports the effective planning, and implementation of our expanded learning program (ELO-P), site-specific. The Assistant Site Coordinator will play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing and academically enriching environment for our students while building strong relationships with TCF staff, school staff, parents, and community partners. The Assistant Site Coordinator is responsible for supporting program planning, compliance, communication, student support, administrative duties, and continuous professional development. Essential Functions Program Planning and Implementation: • Release staff for breaks in program, • Cover staff absences within program, • Complete supper and roster count daily for program., • Develop positive relationships with principal, teachers, office staff, lunch clerks, custodians, and staff in support to the Site Coordinator, • Support site orientation, tours, and onsite support to staff, • Attend staff meetings, mandatory training, District PLCs and other TCF events such as parent night, and special events as required by the program, • Support Site Coordinator in their absence by taking on a leadership role to ensure program is functioning in their absence, including but not limited to Procare, • Take daily attendance of all students, • Ensure all students are signed in and out of the program by an authorized representative, • Create rosters, adding and removing students from the waitlist into the program when available, • Meet the average daily attendance (ADA) goal for the site, • Cultivate positive relationships and transparent communication with supervisors, TCF staff, school staff, parents, and community partners, • Serve as a liaison between school staff, administrative teams, and the TCF staff, • Proactively engage with the supervisor on operational matters, including student progress and program effectiveness, • Provide support and instruction when needed, • Establish and enforce rules to maintain a safe and nurturing learning environment., • Assist students in building positive self-image and healthy interpersonal relationships, • Adhere to TCF policies related to safety, discipline, and emergencies, • Uphold TCF policies, including those concern medical situations, child abuse prevention, dress code, and cell phone/electronic device usage, • Communicate regarding staff progress and performance for additional training and support needed by TCF supervisors, • Assist with student sign outs as needed Fulfill any other duties as assigned by the supervisor, recognizing that the role may evolve to include new tasks introduced by the company. Job Qualifications Minimum Knowledge/Experience/Requirements • Must be at least 18 years of age., • Must have at least 48-semester college units or successful completion of the Paraeducator exam, • TB test clearance, • Must pass DOJ/FBI criminal background check., • Must be punctual and reliable., • Must have experience working with youth and a general knowledge base of core elementary subjects., • Must possess strong classroom and behavioral management skills., • Must be able to work independently or as part of a team., • Must have sufficient strength, agility, and mobility to perform essential functions of position and to safely supervise children’s activities including the ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs., • Multiple site locations, • Reliable transportation, • Sexual Harassment Training Certificate *required (provided by TCF), • Mandated Reporter Training Certificate *required (provided by TCF) Basic knowledge and ability to operate/use: (preferred) • Procare/EZ Reports and attendance, personnel tracking software, • Microsoft software, Office 365, Teams, Employee Live, PowerPoint, Forms, Word, etc., • Zoom/Google Live, • Possess Integrity -- being honest and showing a consistent and uncompromising adherence to strong moral and ethical principles and values., • People-oriented and energetic -- enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects, • Adaptable -- remains flexible and easily adapts to change and operational needs, • Teamwork -- collaboration, communication, and shared goals -- "Like minds coming together to create change", • Professionalism-exhibiting a courteous, conscientious, and business-like manner in the workplace
