SUMMARY: The Sales Associate's primary function is to sell and promote Perry Ellis merchandise through execution of Perry Ellis customer service standards. Their duties include greeting customers when they enter the store, helping customers find specific products or showing them how to use them and ringing up customer purchases on the POS register. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Interacts with customers in a courteous, friendly manner (e.g., maintains eye contact, smiles)., • Generates maximum sales potential in accordance with the Perry Ellis customer service standards., • Builds repeat customer base through excellent PE Loyalty Program data capture., • Maintains strong knowledge regarding product, promotions, and special events in order to communicate to customers more effectively., • Consistently foster a positive store experience by treating all customers and staff members in a fair and consistent manner., • Effectively maintains floor coverage; acknowledges every customer; treats customers with priority over assigned tasks., • Consistently productive throughout the entire shift (e.g., effectively uses idle time to replenish products, maintain visual displays, engage with customers, etc.)., • Consistently reports to work on time., • Demonstrates flexibility with his/her schedule., • Understand individual and store sales goals ., • Follow all operational policies and procedures., • Follows guidance from management to execute visual standards, recovery and replenishment. SUMMARY Manage the development and execution of fashion products for Perry Ellis Accessories and brands under it's portfolio, in accordance with agreed upon design, pricing and brand strategy. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Follow a design calendar and development process to ensure timely completion., • Manage and execute product development in private label and golf brands under Perry Ellis umbrella, from concept to material selections and cost engineering, • Executes merchandising strategies and seasonal line plans to build profitable assortments that will meet internal margin goals., • Understand target customer….shop retail stores to provide competitive analysis to enhance brand strategies and opportunities for private label and golf brands., • Analyze retail sales with planning and design team to identify opportunities in private brands, • Interface with all functional areas of the business (design, sales, sourcing, marketing) to maintain common vision for the brand and bring compelling product to market, • Communicate daily with overseas factories, • Knowledge of product development process, • Strong written and verbal communication skills, • Ability to prioritize and multitask, • Strong analytical and decision making skills, • Strong Organizational skills, • Ability to interact with varying personalities, • Must have ability to present a professional and informative product and trend assortment to those both inside and outside the organization, • Proficient in MS Office and Google, • Knowledge of retail math, LDP,DDP, FOB terms, • Adobe software experience a plus, • PLM experience a Plus Legal Disclaimer: Perry Ellis International is an equal opportunity employer.
