Job Description This role is part of our Youth & Recreational Sports group, comprised of technology platforms such as SportsEngine HQ, SportsEngine Motion, SportsEngine Play and SportsEngine Tourney. We enable athletes, parents, coaches and team administrators in the youth and recreational space to manage their organizations, collect payments, share schedules, find programs to participate in and connect with other families. Additionally, NCSI enables leagues and organizations to properly screen and train coaches in an effort to keep kids safe. The Enterprise Sales Representative (Events) plays a critical role in developing, managing, and executing our enterprise sales and sports strategy for events. This position partners closely with cross‑functional teams—including account management, product development, safety, video & streaming, and marketing—to drive new business and deliver an exceptional experience for a portfolio of enterprise‑level partners. With a strong focus on revenue growth and best‑in‑class sales practices, this role is responsible for creating meaningful value for event partners and advancing our overall market presence. The Enterprise Sales Representative (Events) reports directly to the Director, Enterprise Sales. Job Duties: • Collaborate across business functions to develop, establish, and execute the company’s enterprise sales and events vertical strategy., • Build and nurture strategic industry relationships to generate referrals, uncover opportunities, and consistently fuel a high-performing sales pipeline., • Provide consultative feedback and advice to help create the best possible experience for our customers and their entire organization, • Liaise with the product development, safety, account management, video & streaming, and marketing teams to ideate and create strategic sales assets, • Sell all opportunities valued >$45,000 in revenue within named vertical(s)., • Work directly with prospective customers in-person, via telephone, email, social, and online meetings to create demand and solve challenging customer problems in a consultative way, • Work directly with prospects in the youth sports event industry, by selling critical technology functions to support large scales event operations, • Build and accurately manage your sales pipeline, document activities in Salesforce, conduct regular pipeline reviews, develop creative advancement/engagement strategies, and translate product features to customer solutions, • Follow-through on all commitments to customers creating a great experience, ensuring a successful internal transition throughout their implementation experience post-sale, • Learn, gain advanced product and market knowledge to differentiate yourself and SportsEngine event platforms as both a technical and business solutions for our customers, • Own your results. Unwavering personal daily effort standards so coaching focus centers around goals, sales skills & career growth, • Other job-related duties as assignedQualifications, • 4+ years of experience in SAAS Sales, and a track record as a leader, collaborator, and innovator., • Demonstrated experience in delivering value and superior customer service., • Strong knowledge of the youth sport landscape inclusive of trends unique to Event Operators, USOPC and NGB’s, SafeSport and Risk Management, tier one sport revenue verticals., • Experience in developing account review plans and presentations., • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate clearly and effectively., • Willingness to travel to engage prospects and partners., • Empathetic, solutions oriented and a true passion to service customers., • College degree or equivalent experience, • Experience in a matrixed organization and collaborating across key cross-functional roles that can include Strategic Planning, Business Development, Content, Project, and Product Management., • Proficiency with Salesforce, or similar CRM experience, is a plus, • Experiencing in managing or servicing youth sports events, consisting of; registration, ticketing, event management and video/streaming, • Fully Remote: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-VERSANT worksite, most commonly an employee’s residence., • Travel: Must be able to travel domestically for business meetings, trainings and team events as needed.
