Job Description Summary The Field-Based Case Manager will be responsible for providing direct program implementation activities as an integral part of the agency’s Behavioral Health and Support Services unit under the direct supervision of the Licensed Director of Behavioral Health. Responsibilities include outreach and recruitment; conducting participant screenings and assessments; facilitating trauma-informed, culturally affirming individual and group level counseling; providing targeted case management; and tracking participant progress. Job Description Esperanza Immigrant Rights Project, a program of Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, Inc., is a non-profit law firm which provides community education and legal representation to immigrant adults, families, unaccompanied minors, individuals with mental health issues, and in cases involving crimmigration. Esperanza has proudly provided legal services to immigrants and their families in Southern California for over 15 years. The immigration court system does not provide court-appointed counsel to individuals facing deportation who cannot afford an attorney, so this vulnerable population relies on our community education programs to obtain critical information about the process, understand their legal options and access assistance. Esperanza’s community education programs were established to more effectively meet this need and to guide pro se immigrants through the increasingly complicated and strained immigration system. The Community Forestry Foreperson (CFF) will operate a highly productive crew of foresters in support of a variety of regional community forestry projects while also providing training and educational activities to further the technical expertise of their staff. The CFF will manage the operation and scope of work for their workforce crew with the ultimate goal of promoting urban forest stewardship across Southern California. The CFF will also schedule and oversee Climate Action Corps fellows in their support roles. The CFF will be positioned to contribute to higher-end project management tasks such as public agency coordination, permitting and sourcing of quality tree stock, as well as project implementation tasks such as planning and execution of staff tree planting and tree care. The position must ensure accurate tracking and reporting of key metrics, including trees planted and cared for, and the schedule of training activities. Job Description The Operations Manager serves as the operational and financial backbone of the Green Infrastructure Department. Medication ManagementEffective administration and management of detox protocols, withdrawal management, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT).Follow company’s medication policy for safety and accuracy to administer medications to participants as prescribed, following all regulations and protocols.Responsible for medication inventory management, monitors medication stock levels, medication inventory, medication storage, medication refills, and reports discrepancies to supervisor.Ensure staff administering medications have the proper credentials to do so.Ensure the safe and proper administration of medications to prevent medication errors and diversion.Ensures HIPAA Compliance by maintaining the security of participant information and maintains strict participant confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records and ensuring participant information is kept confidential.Follow all safety rules, regulations and infection control procedures, ensuring a clean, safe, and supportive environment for participants and staff.Respond appropriately to emergencies including following policy and procedure for contacting appropriate staff and supervisor(s) professionally and calmly interacting with police, fire, and medical personnel. Qualifications Must have a bachelor’s degree from a Board approved nursing program and a verifiable active license in California as a RN.Must have at least 3 years of leadership experience in a detox center.Must have achieved sobriety of at least one year.Certification in addiction treatment such as NCAC, or CARN is a plus.Must have current CPR and First Aid certification or obtain within 30 days from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.Must complete all pre-employment requirements including a Livescan and physical.Must complete all Learning Management System “LMS” assignments by 30 days of employment.Must carry and provide evidence of appropriate and current Professional Liability Insurance.
