The SummerStage Citywide Production Assistants (PAs) assist with the on-site execution of all venue, staging, security, and artist hospitality needs, as directed by the Production Manager (PM) and Front of House Coordinator (FOHC), SummerStage Citywide. Job Description POSITION SUMMARY The Production Assistant (PAs) is a part-time seasonal position reporting directly to the General Manager (GM), responsible for providing administrative and staffing support for events at the SummerStage venue in Central Park. The Production Assistant is responsible for liaising between administrative, production, and front of house staff, including coordinating the organization and distribution of all venue equipment, and assisting with artist and staff needs as applicable. Hours for this position vary according to seasonal needs; PAs can expect to fill calls 4 - 12 hours in length during our season from May to October. Job Description POSITION SUMMARY CPF is seeking to hire experienced players, coaches or teachers to teach free beginner tennis lessons to children and seniors in NYC parks. Lessons for seniors are typically held in the Spring and Fall on weekday mornings. Lessons for youth are typically held on weekends in the Spring and Fall and on weekdays from 9-12 noon and 1-4 PM during the summer. Instructors will be trained to teach a standardized curriculum and will be seasonal employees of the CityParks Play department. Job Description POSITION SUMMARY City Parks Foundation Learning Gardens brings year-round, field and school-based garden science learning to NYC school children and community members. Our gardens are outdoor classrooms that provide vibrant green space in some of New York City’s most densely populated neighborhoods. We provide programming in various community gardens in four boroughs. Using our garden partner sites, CPF presents engaging interdisciplinary lessons to expand student learning around urban ecology, horticulture, soil science, and sustainable urban food systems.
