This is a full-time position located in Nassau County at Project Street Beat in Hempstead, within PPGNY Region One.• Region One – NYC + Nassau County New York, Nassau, Oneida, Kings, Queens, Richmond, and Bron DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (WEIGHTED & WITH DETAIL Program and Office Support (65%) • Works within a team to engage potential consumers, including targeted street outreach, "word of mouth,” and social networking within underserved communities in Nassau County.• Performs outreach activities in communities where potential PSB clients congregate including methadone clinics, shooting galleries, strolls, community parks, street corners, and local business and service providers. Job Description The Construction Project Manager is responsible for supporting and overseeing all aspects of design and construction projects at the High Line park and headquarters facility. Project types include new construction & renovation, capital repair and retrofit projects, and infrastructure-focused projects. The Construction Project Manager collaborates with internal departments - including Operations, Advancement, and Finance - and external partners such as NYC Parks and adjacent developers. Job Description POSITION SUMMARY City Parks Learn has operated interdisciplinary environmental education programs in schools and parks since 1992. Eco-Innovators is a program for 9th - 12th graders that gives students access to environmental STEM learning and introduces them to NYC infrastructure and leaders as they work to invent creative projects that push the environmental resiliency movement forward in their own communities. Students make real change as they explore urban infrastructure and advocacy tools and learn techniques to help solve challenging environmental issues, including expanding green spaces, increasing recycling and reducing waste, and improving energy efficiency. City Parks Foundation seeks an experienced environmental educator with deep knowledge of and passion for environmental resiliency and community advocacy. Reporting to the Senior Manager of STEM Pathways, the successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in delivering instruction to and working with adolescents in a project-based, out-of-school time setting. During the school year, the Eco-Innovators Program Manager manages and implements after-school programming for up to 25 high school students at each of 4 locations, using site-specific, inquiry-based lessons to stimulate meaningful learning experiences for students in their own communities. Job Description Reporting to the Associate Curator of High Line Art and working under the direction of the Director & Chief Curator, the Assistant Curator is responsible for a broad range of tasks related to the coordination and development of High Line Art’s program. Thriving in a fast-paced, creative environment, they contribute ideas and conduct other curatorial work to support High Line Art’s program, and collaborate across teams within Friends of the High Line to ensure that needs around installations and programs are communicated and fulfilled. Job Description POSITION SUMMARY City Parks Foundation seeks up to three college interns to work during the school year within our Seeds to Trees Program. The mission of Seeds to Trees is to educate elementary and middle school students about urban ecology, forest ecology, marine ecology, parks stewardship and conservation using parks as an outdoor classroom. Job Description POSITION SUMMARY The Citywide Marketing Assistant will join a 17-person Development and Marketing team at City Parks Foundation, reporting to the Marketing Director. This seasonal, part-time assistant will be the main representative for the Marketing team onsite at citywide shows for our SummerStage festival at parks across the five boroughs. This role will lead our marketing responsibilities during citywide SummerStage events and will support the Marketing department in various outreach activities. The Citywide Marketing Assistant will be supported by summer interns and will manage intern responsibilities at events. This role is an opportunity to work on diverse projects with massive New York City exposure. This position requires live event and production experience with a proactive and can-do attitude, strong attention to detail, organizational skills, problem-solving proficiency, management experience, and the ability to work independently outside on nights and weekends throughout the five boroughs.
