Job DescriptionRole Summary: The Director of Administration manages Healing Transition’s daily operations, administrative functions, and support services to ensure efficiency and alignment with strategic goals. Key responsibilities include overseeing budgets, managing human resources, streamlining processes, developing policies, supervising administrative staff, and coordinating facilities and technology. This position requires a compassionate leader who can see the potential in every individual and foster an environment of support and hope.Role Requirements and Preferences: Required: • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Organizational Behavior, Project Management or closely related field., • 5 years full-time supervisory experience of two or more staff members., • Education, training or experience in non-profit operations., • Familiarity with the recovery process., • Negative pre-employment drug test. Serving as a liaison with Ascend nonprofit solutions., • Financial Management:, • Managing budgets, monitoring expenses, negotiating vendor contracts, and ensuring cost-effective operations., • Human Resources:, • Overseeing HR functions including recruitment, training, employee relations, performance management, and maintaining personnel records., • Policy & Compliance:, • Developing, implementing, and updating administrative policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements., • Staff Supervision:, • Managing and mentoring administrative staff, providing support, and evaluating performance., • Facilities & Technology:, • Overseeing office space, maintenance, security, and the procurement and implementation of technology to enhance productivity. Work Environment: This role involves the use of standard office equipment, including computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets. Employees may occasionally be exposed to wet or humid outdoor conditions. The typical noise level is moderate.
