Job Description Surepods is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to be a part of a dynamic team whose mission is to Take Care of our People. The Human Resources Business Partner will play a pivotal role in supporting employee lifecycle processes within Surepods. The position involves cross-functional collaboration with internal HR teams, governance of employee information and records, serving as a resource for employees and managers, supporting training and employee development, and participating in strategic HR projects to support organizational goals. High-Level Summary of Human Resources Business Partner Responsibilities: • A dedicated resource for employee inquiries on DPR benefits/programs, serving as liaison to internal resources and offerings and general support related requests, providing clarification/interpretation of company policies, as needed., • Managing employee information and records in Workday (HRIS system) and other internal databases., • Managing transitions and new hire onboarding for a seamless employee experience, engaging IT for assignment of DPR assets and employee accounts., • Assist manager self-service entries such as promotions, lateral changes, compensation changes to ensure data accuracy and best practice alignment, • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance, • Managing employer risk by consulting with leader/managers, providing appropriate HR guidance, and working through complex employee relation matters., • Partners effectively with People Practice groups, including Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Learning & Development, Talent & Performance, and Recruiting., • Partners with Leaders/Managers to coordinate involuntary and voluntary employee separations, employee leave requests and returns to work, • Assist with report generation, data analysis, and presenting findings to the business leaders and stakeholders as needed for HR stats and trends, • Work across various platforms to track, manage, and report on employee-related data., • Use data for identifying program needs and nominations, • Organize training sessions, and match employees to internal program offerings and professional development opportunities, • Ongoing Coach Pairing for New Hires – connect with 30-60-90 day plans, • Facilitation of People Related Trainings Programs (i.e. Building Healthy Teams, Employee Development Best Practices etc.), • Administration of Talent Cycle/ Performance Management, • Internal Communication and Content Creation, • Administration of Recognition Programs for Employees, • Engage in People Practice related initiatives or projects as needed The Human Resource Business Partner should possess the following qualifications, skills, and attributes: • Bachelor's degree (focus on Human Resources a plus or related work experience), • Minimum 5 years relevant HR experience; construction industry is a plus, • Strong work ethic, initiative, willingness to learn and ability to multitask independently, • Experience supporting high volume of employees, • Strong technology skills, • Workday HRIS system experience a plus, • Strong oral and written communication skills, • Excellent Interpersonal Skills and ability to develop relationships with employees at all company levels, • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies., • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, adhering to all professional and ethical behavior standards and principles of confidentiality, • Problem Solver, • Embraces DPR's Core Values (Integrity, Enjoyment, Uniqueness, and Ever Forward), • Cultural Ambassador - Advocate for Taking Care of People, • Employee Service Oriented, • Dedicated to our mission to become one of the most admired companies by 2030, • Enjoys being part of a team that is located throughout the United States Company DescriptionDPR Construction is a forward-thinking, self-performing general contractor specializing in technically complex and sustainable projects for the advanced technology, life sciences, healthcare, higher education and commercial markets.
