Job Description Job Title: X-Ray Technologist (Contract – 0–2 Years Experience) Location: New York, NY 10019 Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: Varied Day Shift (07:30 AM – 06:00 PM), Monday–Friday Weekly Hours: 37.5 Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a licensed X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiologic equipment to support accurate medical diagnosis. The technologist will ensure high-quality imaging, patient safety, and compliance with all regulatory standards while working across orthopedic and spine clinical settings. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and position patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring comfort and cooperation, • Operate X-ray and imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, • Apply radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self, • Follow infection control policies and clinical safety standards, • Review images for quality and make adjustments as needed, • Maintain accurate documentation in patient and departmental records (including exam verification), • Perform routine equipment checks, troubleshooting, and coordinate maintenance when needed, • Monitor and manage radiology supplies and inventory, • Support compliance with continuing education and regulatory requirements, • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized imaging environment, • Collaborate with clinical teams and contribute to overall workflow efficiency, • Float between orthopedic and spine clinic locations as requiredRequired Qualifications, • Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program, • Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (LRT), • ARRT Certification (required), • Strong understanding of diagnostic imaging procedures, • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, • Excellent communication and patient interaction skills About Navitas Healthcare, LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
