Job DescriptionPosition: Parent Educator Classification: Full-time, Exempt Reports to: Program Coordinator Company: DePelchin Children’s Center Location: Houston, TX Position Description: The Parent Educator will facilitate curriculum-based groups, deliver presentations, attend community events and activities to market programs and recruit participants, as directed by grant, for families in community settings. The Parent Educator will also conduct intake and assessment, develop treatment plans, and provide supportive case management to all group participants. As needed, the Parent Educator may lead additional curriculum groups. This position will work closely with the surrounding community to provide advocacy and referral services.
