Job Description The specific pay rate and level will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications, prior experience and location. “A Day in the Life” Under the supervision of the Inventory Center Manager, provides technical and supervisory support to receiving and inventory staff. This position interacts heavily with all other operations departments. May develop cost estimates and tentative schedules. Reviews plans and other technical documents, answers questions regarding the scope and/or timing of projects. Designs, implements and manages the technology tools and applications used to process and document inventory movement. This person provides leadership, direction and training to receiving and inventory staff working with him/her in a plant based environment. Reports performance of company processes to peers, upper management, internal and external auditors. This individual has responsibility for receiving and inventory staff, accountable for their safety, quality of work and productivity. “What You’ll Do” • Monitor daily returns for potential asset or accessory issues based on experience and product knowledge and contact customers via email or phone to resolve or document exceptions, thus minimizing later customer grievances., • Manage the Production Scheduler and conduct pre-audits to ensure the production schedule remains on track., • Manage drafters and drawing priorities to ensure Project Managers, customers, and teams receive complete sets of state-approved drawings. Maintain and submit a monthly report to HCD detailing insignias used., • Ensure evaluators stay up to date with codes, building materials, and returns, while also verifying that locations and maps are updated daily., • Ensure building movers have the resources and support needed to stage buildings accurately and on schedule., • Oversee foundation loading and delivery to the appropriate teams, while maintaining inventory, tracking usage, and ordering foundation materials as needed., • Ensure returns are offloaded safely and in a timely manner., • Oversee a two-person production team responsible for small jobs, including basic preparation and cleaning tasks., • Ensure products and processes are designed and operated lean and efficiently while maintaining high volume and high quality., • Design, implement, and monitor asset tracking, quarterly physical inventory, reporting and procedures while ensuring seamless tracking of asset movement and adherence to internally prescribed general accounting and externally- observed auditing rules., • Utilize a combination of system tools to analyze real-time and historical data regarding inventory, customers or orders and correct or report anomalies to peers, upper management, internal and external auditors., • Work closely with other departments to monitor their production, analyze their existing processes and procedures.
