American Traveler is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in St. Louis, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: MRI Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: ASAP, • Duration: 36 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, days, • Position based in the MRI Operating Room (IMRIS), part of a short-term acute care hospital, • Rotating 12-hour day and night shifts (6:30–19:00 or 18:30–07:00) following training, with training on day shifts prior to rotation, • Work schedule may include M–F 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts during orientation depending on cases, • No on-call, weekend, or holiday requirements during orientation; once independent, potential for one Saturday per month if needed, • Caseload of 100–150 scans per tech, • Patients range from outpatient to inpatient, ER, Level 1 trauma, NICU, adult ICU, • Siemens equipment in use (Espree, Trio, Aera, Skyra, Sola, Vida), • EPIC EMR system in use; Epic experience preferred, • Candidates may be required to float within the hospital as needed by service line, • Role includes IMRIS (MRI Operating Room) responsibilities with approximately 2 months of training before independent scanning, • Exposure to a range of imaging studies, including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, breast, spine, musculoskeletal, and more, • First-time travelers are accepted, • Flexible orientation schedule to maximize training based on case availability, • Scrub color is black, • Parking available for a monthly fee; night shift parking is free, • Facial hair must allow for proper fit testing or will require shaving, • Return staff must wait one year before returning as a traveler, • Maximum of 7 days requested time off per 13-week contract; no time off allowed during the first week, • Work in a Level 1 trauma, academic teaching hospital environment\n \n Requirements\n, • Current ARRT MR certification required, • Minimum of 1 year MRI experience required, with OR, Interventional, or HiFU experience preferred, • Siemens MRI equipment experience required, • BLS certification required, • Proficiency starting IVs and with PACS preferred, • Experience with advanced MRI protocols and post-processing preferred, • Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted, • Pending state license accepted if applicable—license required if applicable, • References from past two years preferred\n Benefits\n, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
