Responsibilities As an Occupational Therapist (OT) with Knowledge Road, you will: * Provide direct, high-quality occupational therapy services to students in both individual and group settings, as mandated by their Individualized Education Service Programs/Individualized Education Programs (IESP/IEP). * Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' fine motor, visual-motor, sensory processing, and activities of daily living skills. * Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans utilizing sensory integration, motor learning principles, and adaptive strategies. * Design and modify classroom environments, learning materials, and assistive technology to promote student participation and independence. * Collaborate extensively with parents, teachers, related service providers, and school administrators to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes. * Provide consultation and training to educational staff on positioning, adaptive equipment use, and sensory strategies. * Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of all services, progress, and outcomes in compliance with DOE regulations and Knowledge Road standards. * Actively participate in IESP/IEP meetings, offering expert occupational therapy insights and evidence-based recommendations.
