What You'll Do • Own the civil scope on site: Lead daily coordination for grading/earthwork, stormwater/drainage, access roads, foundations, and BOP civil interfaces., • Ensure compliance & constructability: Verify survey control; validate grading models, cut/fill, compaction, haul routes, and road sections; enforce SWPPP/E&S controls., • Interpret IFC plans, submit RFIs, review submittals, manage redlines/as-builts, and drive value-engineering solutions., • Quality & risk management: Establish QA/QC checks, witness tests/inspections, track NCRs and corrective actions; identify risks early and implement mitigations., • Schedule & cost support: Maintain 2–4 week look-ahead plans, track quantities and productivity, validate pay apps/change orders for civil work., • Documentation & turnover: Maintain photo logs, field sketches, as-builts, punch lists, and civil turnover packages., • Experience: 7–12+ years in civil construction for utility-scale solar or comparable large industrial/linear projects (renewables, T&D, data centers, heavy civil). Extensive field execution required., • Technical depth: Mass grading, drainage/hydrology, erosion & sediment control, access roads, foundations, survey control, machine control/GPS workflows., • Tools: Proficiency with Civil 3D (for plan interpretation/markups), Bluebeam, and quantity takeoffs; working knowledge of hydrology/stormwater tools (Hydraflow, HEC-HMS/HEC-RAS or similar). Drone/orthomosaic and GPS/machine-control familiarity is a plus., • Standards: SWPPP, IBC, state/local grading and stormwater ordinances; comfort interpreting geotechnical reports and survey deliverables., • Soft skills: Clear communicator, decisive in the field, collaborative with EPCs and subcontractors; proven ability to mentor field engineers and foremen., • Experience with multi-hundred-MW solar programs, BESS co-location, and T&D interconnect civil interfaces., • Prior office/design coordination (RFIs, submittals, grading model review) to expedite field decisions., • Exposure to earned value, production tracking, and change-order development for civil scopes. #LI-TK1 Atwell Benefits: To attract and retain the best professionals in the industry, we aim to provide an excellent working environment and a progressive benefits program designed to support your personal and professional needs.
